Affinities

The works in this series grew out of my ongoing investigation of the heart, and specifically, from my visits to medical laboratories where research was being conducted to investigate the use of stem cells to heal the human heart.   I like to explore the connections between apparent unrelated subjects, and here I juxtaposed photographs that I took at medical research laboratories with photographs of objects in my studio.
