Marco and Saverio Lanza are two brothers living and working in Florence, Italy. Marco is a photographer and Saverio, a musician, and together they became an award winning team (www.xxpastis.com) whose videos capture aspects of human nature that are at turns quirky, poignant, heart-rending and comedic.

Marco and Saverio conceived of doing a video at the opening reception of my exhibition at La Specola. They placed a camera beside a large display case which contained my sculptures related to the human heart, and they recorded both audio and video of guests viewing the works. Together, they created Lei Ha Preso Il Cuore (She Took the Heart).
